| Jun 10 Grow DeSoto: Entrepreneur Pitch Day |
 The DeSoto Economic Development Corporation in partnership with the DeSoto Chamber of Commerce, the City of DeSoto, and Options Real Estate are hosting an event on June 10, 2017 from noon-5pm called Grow DeSoto: Entrepreneur Pitch Day. The purpose of this event is to locate and engage small business owners interested in locating their operations inside of a new small business incubator that will be opening in DeSoto, TX this summer.
ABOUT THE INCUBATOR
The small business incubator is a 26,000 SF retail building which has been repurposed and renovated to house a variety of restaurants, retail spaces, and a shared workspace. The incubator has an open-air, mall environment that will create a consistent flow of foot traffic for the businesses located within.
PITCH DAY EVENT
Entrepreneurs will have 3 minutes to pitch their product, service, or startup idea in front of a panel of judges and audience members for a chance to secure a spot in the incubator. This is a FREE event to the general public, but entrepreneurs interested in pitching their business must register atwww.growdesoto.org. Registration ends May 19, 2017.
