TGIF Legislative Breakfast Series 



TGIF Legislative Breakfast Series beginning on August 5th at Methodist Charlton Medical Center with a Transportation program.  Mayor Knight has invited Texas Transportation Commissioner Victor Vandergriff to have a dialog on Transportation in our BSW Region.
 
On August 12th, Cliff Boyd has arranged for an outstanding Panel of Educators - President Bob Mong of UNT Dallas, Dr. Robert Garza, President of Mountain View College, Dr. Jennifer Wimbish President of Cedar Valley College, Dean Royal Furgeson, UNT School of Law, and Dr. David Harris, Superintendent of DeSoto ISD. They will explore issues pertinent to the BSW Area.
 
On August 19th, Dr. Cynthia Mickens Ross has expended invitations to the top Health and Human Services Leaders in Austin, to discuss HealthCare including possible mental problems displayed in recent shootings.
 
Finally on August 26th, Laura Terhune and Patty Bushart are importing a spokesperson from the Governor's Office of Economic Development and Tourism.  Laura and Patty are calling their session "Tourism - Our Cleanest Industry".
