DeSoto Public Library: Fredrick (Fred) Jones

Fred Jones, Dallas native and graduate of Uplift Hampton Preparatory, will sign copies of his first book, Raiko: The Flames of a Bully, at the DeSoto Public Library on Saturday, Sept. 19th, from 2 pm ? 4 pm. Raiko is a children?s comic book about a dragon named Raiko, who is bullied. This is the first book of Raiko adventures. Mr. Jones is dedicated to helping others, especially helping young people to be themselves. His love of reading comic books and the loss of a dear friend due to bullying inspired Mr. Jones to write and illustrate Raiko. Mr. Jones also enjoys playing keyboard and is the Minister of Music at his church. Copies of Raiko will be available for purchase and autographing.
