Dinner Discussion Topic:
Community Policing and Partnerships – A Candid Discussion with DeSoto Police Chief Joe Costa
The DeSoto Dining and Dialogue program was organized as a means to discuss the cultural and racial divides that often separate us. At Mayor Curtistene McCowan’s Town Hall Meeting on Community Policing, we heard a call to continue the discussion of building and sustaining police/community partnerships. As a result, DeSoto Dining and Dialogue is inviting everyone who participated in that meeting, and others who care about our diverse community, to attend a special dinner event to continue the conversation with DeSoto Police Chief Joe Costa and members of his Department.
